Duties and Responsibilities
- The Records Management Assistant II will be responsible for:
- Registering incoming correspondence in the registry (Incoming Correspondence Register).
- Registering outgoing correspondence sent outside the institution (Outgoing Correspondence Register).
- Distributing files to responsible officers (Action Officers).
- Receiving files from responsible officers (Action Officers).
- Receiving files returned to the registry from officers.
- Returning files to filing racks/cabinets or any other designated storage area.
- Monitoring and tracking the movement of files within the institution (File Tracking).
Qualifications
- An applicant must:
- Have completed Form IV (Ordinary Level) or Form VI (Advanced Level) education; and
- Hold a Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Records Management/Records and Archives Management from a Government-recognized institution; and
- Possess basic computer skills.
