1. Interns – 10 Positions
Location: Lake Zone
Position Overview
BFS Microfinance Limited seeks ten (10) dynamic and self-motivated interns to support business development and loan management activities.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage new clients to drive market growth
Conduct loan appraisals and client assessments
Monitor loan disbursement and repayment schedules
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field
Strong interest in the microfinance and financial inclusion sector
Good communication and interpersonal skills
2. Experienced Recovery Officers – 5 Positions
Location: Mwanza
Position Overview
The Recovery Officer will be responsible for recovering outstanding loans and ensuring effective debt collection in line with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
Recover outstanding debts as assigned
Develop and implement recovery strategies for individual cases
Conduct field visits to collect payments and assess collateral
Prepare recovery plans, reports, and documentation
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly recovery progress reports
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Recovery Officer or Loan Officer in a reputable institution
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field
Age between 20 and 35 years
